Remembrance Day Moms and Minis Paint Workshop
Once we get pricing sorted, I'll start an event but I wanted to get a discussion together so we can gather information in one place.
I reached out to Michael's to donate craft supplies and they apparently don't do that. I'm going to come up with an email template and list of other possible sponsors that we can reach out to. Let's divide and conquer.
Currently, we have a 2pm paint workshop confirmed with Vera (the artist). We're doing a Remembrance Day theme (painting attached).
Vera charges $25+HST for a single shared canvas (mom and mini) and all the supplies OR $35+HST for 2 canvases (one each) and supplies. We're going to offer both options so the moms can chose what they want to do.
Additionally, Vera has a soft play set up that she rents out for $50/hr.
The plan is to do a 40min session at 2pm, then break for 10mins for a snack and drink/soft play set-up, and then go back to the painting for another 40mins (if the kids have lost interest, the soft play section will be there and the moms can finish up).
Tammy and I spoke about opening the club from Noon-4 ish so we can see if people would come just to hang out too before hand. See if we can start with a dance party or something that people who aren't coming for the paint event might still want to join for.
